For me personally, it has been a joy to be part of the Liverpool community and I cannot thank Liverpool Women’s Hospital enough for their fantastic care.

“Having not been born in Liverpool myself but my husband being a proud Liverpudlian, it gives us both immense pleasure to give back to our community.

“Taking part in this study will provide research to promote a healthy, happy and more equitable Liverpool, effectively enabling our next generation to thrive.”

The C-GULL study is a partnership between the University of Liverpool, Wellcome Trust, Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, Liverpool City Council, and the Liverpool Women’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The study is based at the Liverpool Women’s Hospital and will be delivered by a wide range of organisations. The information gathered through C-GULL will help researchers, clinicians, and policymakers to understand more about the early life origins of health and wellbeing.

People who are pregnant and have booked for their maternity care to be provided by Liverpool Women’s Hospital are eligible to participate in the study. The study will collect extensive biological, biometric, socio-demographic, and psychosocial information at multiple points throughout the pregnancy and the child's first two years of life. Innovative data collection methods will be used to assess a range of areas, including child development, family structure, physical and mental health, and the home environment.

If you are interested in taking part find out more [here](https://www.cgullstudy.com/taking-part).
Mum tells why she and her twins are helping change health outcomes for future generations.
/news/2024-07-09-mum-and-twins.en
news/2024-07-09-mum-and-twins.en","auWtrFH8oLC9jtspxTffMS648MA6Nr-auUP66o9Zdy0",1791204091629]
